“What We Did On Our Holiday”(12A)

On a visit to family in the Scottish Highlands for Grandad’s 75th birthday, a troubled couple (Rosamund Pike & David Tennant) pretend all is well only to have their three children innocently reveal all  their biggest secrets. 

Warm & witty, this charming film is often hilarious but has its poignant moments too.  And amongst a host of well-known actors, Billy Connelly makes for a very memorable Grandad – but it’s the children who are the real stars.  Added to the fantastic scenery, wonderful acting & great music, it’s an absolute treat!
