Catering

The area has some excellent caterers and we can supply a list of caterers familiar with the hall who can offer anything from a simple buffet to a full dinner or hog roast / BBQ. Details available upon request.

If used, the hall kitchen must be left clean and tidy unless a post hire clean has been paid in advance.

The Village Hall Bar

Blakeney Village Hall holds a full Premises Licence which includes the sale of alcohol. Bar staff are fully trained and experienced and take the four licensing objectives stated in the Licensing act 2005. (the prevention of crime and disorder; public safety; the prevention of public nuisance; the protection of children from harm) very seriously.

The Hall has a well stocked bar and we are happy to work with the hirer to ensure we offer the right mix of wine, bottled beer, draught bitter, lager and spirits for the event. The bar can only be opened by prior arrangement and bar bookings should be made at the time of booking the hall.

If the bar is not required a corkage charge may be made. Only the licensed village hall bar staff may sell alcohol in the village hall. The hirer can only provide alcohol to guests free of charge and not whilst the bar is open. Only alcohol purchased at the village hall bar can be consumed outside on the playing field. The hire of glassware can be arranged for events not using the bar.

Heating

Heating is by night storage heaters. There are eight heaters in the main hall, three in the Wallace room and one in the kitchen.
